Clodagh Costello

Clodagh is a really awesome ski instructor. Not only has she taught me an incredible amount of skiing, but she also is really nice, funny and outgoing, which is part of how she teaches us a lot, she makes things sort of silly, but teaching us the right technique at the same time, and some times when she wants to teach us something she makes it relative to something everyone knows and showing us instead of telling us what to do . I hope to have Clodagh as a ski instructor again next year.

My 7 year old son and 8 year old daughter got several private lessons from Clodagh on 23/24 JAN-2017 at Rusutsu. She was fantastic with the children! She has a wonderful way of making it fun for the children while teaching them very important technical skills. In particular, I asked her to show them how to navigate their way properly through moguls. After a few lessons, my kids were skiing down double black diamonds with me (like Isola A and Rusutsu 1). My kids were talking about poking white sheep on the head as they comfortably navigated the moguls. Remembering the words and motions behind "pedal pedal, turn" also seemed to work. I guess, whatever works, ha ha!!! I highly recommend Clodagh! She was a fantastic ski instructor for our kids!!!
